We are pleased to announce the launch of the 2020 edition of the Foundation Certificate in association with the EACA (formerly known as the European Advertising Certificate).

This award-winning certificate, written by top agency practitioners, provides recent graduates or apprentices in their first year, young professionals just starting out, or those entering the industry from another profession with the knowledge to perform their roles with confidence and expertise.

The certificate takes candidates on a journey through the entire brand communications process in just 30 hours of flexible online learning.

We are excited for the 2020 Foundation Certificate to be as big a success as last year, with over 14,000 candidates having achieved the certificate since 2004.

You can book onto the 2020 Foundation Certificate via our website by completing the registration form.

All marketing materials can also be accessed and downloaded on our website. If you would like to request any specific materials or edits, please don’t hesitate to let me know.

Here are a few key dates for the 2020 intake:

• Booking Deadline: 4 March 2020
• Exam Date: 27 April 2020

The price per candidate has been frozen and remains the same as 2019:

• EACA members: €450
• non-EACA members:  €700

All bookings and candidates are subject to the Terms and Conditions and qualification policies.

Exam venue costs:

Venue costs for markets with 20 bookings or over will be reimbursed.

Certificates:

All candidates that pass the exam will receive a digital certificate by email.

Candidates who wish to receive a hard copy of their certificate can purchase this from the IPA for £50 (€56).

If you would like to organise a ceremony and request hard copy certificates for your market, please let me know.

Communication:

All promotion, bookings, payments and communication with your members will be done through the EACA.

The management of the learning platform, the exam and candidate queries will be managed through the IPA.

As every year, we will send you weekly reports to provide an overview of registrations in all markets.
